Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, enjoy a VIP meet and greet. You’ll be assisted through immigration, and your driver/guide will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, embark on a luxurious sundowner cruise on Lake Victoria, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Savor the breathtaking sunset while enjoying a glass of champagne.

Day 2: To Murchison Falls National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, catch a domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive to spot the park’s iconic wildlife. Visit the Top of the Falls in the late afternoon to witness the mighty Nile River squeezing through a narrow gorge, creating a powerful waterfall.

Day 3: Exploring Murchison Falls National Park

Start your day with a morning game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, and other wildlife. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the falls, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and elephants up close, along with a variety of bird species.

Day 4: Delta Cruise on the Nile

After breakfast, take a boat trip to the Nile Delta, where the river meets Lake Albert. This 5-6 hour excursion offers a unique chance to spot the elusive shoebill stork and other rare birds, along with beautiful views of the park’s diverse landscapes.

Day 5: To Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, explore the lush forest, home to 12 primate species, including the Red-Tailed Monkey and Olive Baboon. The birdlife here is abundant, and the forest is a birdwatcher’s paradise.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking & Swamp Walk

Start your day with a guided swamp walk, where you might spot several primate species and the magnificent great blue turaco bird. In the afternoon, embark on an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest, where you’ll witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 7: To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains. The park offers a stunning variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and more. Enjoy an afternoon game drive upon arrival, with the possibility of spotting tree-climbing lions.

Day 8: Game Drives & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Experience morning and afternoon game drives in the park, where you’ll see thousands of Uganda kobs, elephants, and other wildlife. Later, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, offering close encounters with hippos, buffaloes, and a plethora of birds.

Day 9: To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

In the morning, fly from Kasese to Kisoro, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic flight and drive offer breathtaking views of the landscape. Make stops along the way to enjoy the scenic routes and local cuisine before reaching your lodge in Bwindi.

Day 10: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

Begin your day with an early morning briefing before embarking on a thrilling gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi. After locating the gorillas, spend an hour observing these majestic creatures. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will leave you with lasting memories.

Day 11: To Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda

Depart early and cross the Cyanika Border into Rwanda. Upon arrival at Volcanoes National Park, embark on a golden monkey trekking adventure. This full-day activity offers an intimate encounter with these playful primates.

Day 12: Dian Fossey Hike

Hike to Dian Fossey’s research center, set at an elevation of 3,000 meters. The 2-hour hike offers insights into Fossey’s work and a deeper understanding of mountain gorilla conservation efforts.

Day 13: Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village

Day 14: Departure from Entebbe

Transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Relax and reminisce about your safari experiences. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute souvenir shopping in Entebbe before your international departure.
