Uganda is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit is during the dry seasons from December to February and June to September. These months bring sunny days, clear skies, and easier travel conditions, especially for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking. Wildlife viewing is also excellent as animals gather around water sources, and the landscapes remain beautifully green. The wetter months, March to May and October to November, offer their own charm with fewer tourists, lush scenery, and fantastic birdwatching, though some roads may become muddy. Overall, Uganda’s mild climate and diverse attractions make it a rewarding destination in every season.
